I graduated high scholl from Dekalb High in 1995. After high school I attended Henderson State University for my BSE in Education.In 2005 I continued my educatuion and enrolled at Harding University to work on my Master's Degree in School Ledership.

I have been teaching at Nashville Primary for 8 years. I have taught second grade for 10 years.
I also worked in the Mineral Springs school district for 2 years. There I taught first grade! After leaving Mineral Springs I taught in the Hope School District for also two years.
I have been married 16 years to my wonderful husband Brett. We have two amazing daughters Addy, who will be attending Nashville Junior High this year, and Rayleigh who will be in First Grade. My family and I love the farm life. we have three chicken houses, 70 head of cows, and a few goats that my daughters so for 4H. We just added a new addition to our family. Our lab named Boomer. He is going to be a big challenge.
I have many hobbies. When I am not teaching I love to read. My all time favorite series is Harry Potter. I also enjoy watching my girls play softball. We are constatntly on the go from one town to another playing. This year I will begin a new hobby of cheering on my daughter Addy as a new seventh grade cheerleader. It seems like there is not enough time in the day.
