Resource 3rd Grade
I attended Henderson State University where my undergraduate major was Early Childhood Education. After obtaining my bachelor's degree, I went directly into HSU's graduate school where I majored in Early Childhood Special Education. I've also completed additional graduate work in special education (Instructional Specialist 4-12) and English as a Second Language.
I've been a part of Nashville Public Schools since 2011. I've taught second and third grade resource classes since beginning my employment here. I currently teach 3rd Grade Resource Language Arts and Math.
I worked for Mineral Springs Public Schools as a middle school special education teacher for grades 5-8. I taught Resource Language Arts and Math.
Friends and family are two of the most important parts of my life. I always look forward to spending time with them.
I love reading and learning! It’s the reason I became a teacher. My favorite magazine to read is National Geographic. Fiction or non-fiction, I read everything!
